HOLISTIC SCENOGRAPHIC MURALS  &  ARCHITECTURAL  METAMORPHOSIS

AN  OCEAN'SKY POETRY FOR OUR TIMES

ART COLLECTORS HAVE COMMONLY FOUND IN HER WORKS A REMINISCENCE IN STYE, WITH THE PAINTINGS OF HOKUSAI, FOR OFTEN BEING REFERRED TO HIS WAVES - WITH THE LINES OF ZAHA HADID FOR BOTH BEEING DRIVEN BY THE SHAPES OF DUNES, REMINISCENT OF SWAY'S LARGE SCALE OCEAN'SKIES - WITH ROBERTO MATTA FOR HER «SOULSCAPES» VERSUS HIS «INSCAPES» - AND AT LAST, WITH FRIDA KAHLO FOR A SIMILAR DESTINY, AND PROCESSES OF HOLISTIC VISUALISATION.

SWAY emerging from the European abstract expressionist muralist Jeanne Ricketts, is born in Paris in the 70s from a transcultural lineage of interdisciplinary artists and spent the majority of her life painting around the mediterranean on her favorite theme - the soul - which in the age of artificial intelligence (AI) competes with (EI) Emotional intelligence.

From 1998 SWAY mingled with RAZZIA, the official LVMH poster artist, and painted privately on a regular basis at "Castel Caramel" in the south of france with surrealist ERNST FUCHS who often collaborated with DALI and HUNDERTWASSER.

in the jubilee year 2000, SWAY was commissioned by the French government to create her first chapel mural built in 1646 in La doire de séranon, entitled, "Heavenly kingdom, earthly kingdom" a 8x10m fresco painted in layers of shades of colors, revealing the illusion of an earthly heaven, which took her six months of hermitage to complete. - This chapel triggered the next commissioned chapel work in 2002, "Venite ad Me" a 3x5m mixed media mural for Carmelite chapel in the south of france.

Ever since she regularly swayed from her various ephemeral art studios, to her uncle's estate, who invited her with his wife to paint in one of their towers in Jettingen’s Castle, birth place and home of Claus Schenk Graf von Stauffenberg. - anchoring SWAY’s call in painting salvational and conscious awakening themes.

SWAY was awarded in Paris for "Arts and World Culture" at UNESCO in September 2015 via her visionary holistic portraits and speech on "genocide, art and peace" at the occasion of the centenary of the Armenian genocide. - The following year SWAY presented a holistic family portrait entitled “our eldest brother Iraq & sister Syria” at United Nations in Geneva.

SWAY graduated in arts & fashion In 1994 from the hkw school in baden-wurttemberg, germany. in the same year she traveled between the cote d'azur and rhodos to collaborate with architects and artists, as well as studying byzantine iconography under eva vlavianos, which marks her main influence in her style today.

Graduating in '97 with awards from the Institut Guégan (Brittany, F) in decorative arts, murals and scenography, collectors recognise SWAY’s striking trademark in her series of ‘soulscapes’ and abstract- figurative works.

Her slogan that «everything feels everything», holistically shaped her art-purpose, serving a missing puzzle beyond the conventional art scene.

Swaying from her almost aboriginal opaque paintings and holistic street-art to short films, poetry, diluted inks painted over depleted photographs and drawings, which she sets into motion via backlight cuttings, to SWAY’s ethereal murals in various chapels and castles, scaffolds what is yet to come towards the next leap in cultural evolution.-

"Out of a deep urge, observing the general polarization of the world between extremes we had a desire to preserve a more holistic approach.. since autumn 2012 we put thoughts into action creating art pilgrims, a transcultural think-tank together with satish kumar, a disciple of mahatma gandhi, as well as claude grunitzky and many more.

the core of its essence is now flowing into SWAY®, the next leap in cultural evolution, which scope will be revealed in due time

FROM IGNORANCE, BY BALANCING
THE WORLD OF PARADOX . "

"as i create, I seek wholeness  via  my  series  on  "fusions" / Merging souls and holistic portraits of countries. these semi-abstract works are visual analogies of the soul's inscapes, which may be  perceived  as  the  actual body of anything alive in a world of transient things.

"It's only once we realize

the world has become a prison

with invisible walls

of distractions & revelations,

that we're allowing ourselves

to find ways to escape and free

one another, just for the sake

of being paradise birds.."

"The eye of the soul

the present in eternity."

"In trance's trace, art translates

the broad spectrum of reality

into a mixed media language of

serendipity, tragedy and poetry."
